Change the Logo

Replace the text brand with a responsive, accessible image or SVG logo.

1. Add the asset

Place a static file in public, for example public/brand/logo.svg. It will be served from /brand/logo.svg.

2. Update the header

Replace the text in components/docs-site-header.tsx:

components/docs-site-header.tsx
import Image from "next/image";

<Link href="/" aria-label={`${siteConfig.name} home`}>
  <Image
    src="/brand/logo.svg"
    alt=""
    width={132}
    height={28}
    priority
  />
</Link>

The link supplies the accessible name, so the image uses an empty alt to avoid repetition. If the image is not inside a named link, give it a descriptive alt.

3. Support dark mode if needed

<Image src="/brand/logo-light.svg" alt="" width={132} height={28} className="dark:hidden" />
<Image src="/brand/logo-dark.svg" alt="" width={132} height={28} className="hidden dark:block" />

4. Verify

Check both modes, the mobile header, 200% zoom, and slow loading. Keep explicit dimensions to prevent layout shift.

Tip: An SVG is usually the best fit for a wordmark because it stays sharp and has a small payload.
